Previously it has been incredible difficult to ensure your cake is baked through evenly and even in some extreme cases the edges may have turned out burnt whilst the middle was not even cooked! The Level Baking Belt from PME will remedy this problem and give you a level, even finish every time without the use of heating cores!
Whether you are an expert or a complete novice, the belt is easy to use and will save you time and is one less thing to worry about going wrong when you bake.
Unlike heating cores or bake even strips, the Level Baking Belt is extremely reliable so you rest assured that your cake will come out of the oven, delicious, moist and even.
The baking belt measures
32” in length can go around either an 3-8” round baking tin or a 3-6” square baking tin and comes in 3 different width 2",. 3" and 4"
43” in length can go around either an 9" - 11" Round Tins or 6" - 9" Square Tins and comes in 3 different width 2",. 3" and 4"
56” in length can go around either an 12" - 16" Round Tins or 10" - 12" Square Tins and comes in 3 different width 2",. 3" and 4"
How to use the Level Baking Belt:
1. Select a baking belt that is the right size and height for your tin.
2. Soak the belt in cold water and remove the excess. Do not wring.
3. Pour your cake batter into the pan and bake as required.
CAUTION: Do not exceed 180 degrees Celsius and please check that the baking belt is not in direct contact with any heating element, gas flames or the side of the oven.
