Shipping policy

We charge a minimum shipping flat fee of £6 on orders below £150 whilst all orders over the value of £150 (minus VAT) qualifies for FREE postage in the UK Mainland (Excludes Northern Ireland) While shipping to . Please do choose FREE STANDARD delivery or the right delivery choice for your needs at the checkout as shipping charges will not be downgraded or refunded once your order has been received. Delivery to certain postcodes might require higher postage, if so you will be contacted prior to dispatch. Need a faster delivery service for your order, feel free to choose our Express/Special Delivery at the checkout.  Our express delivery takes priority over all orders and has an estimated delivery time of 1 - 2 working days after posting 

We aim to process and dispatch all orders received before 12 noon Monday to Friday (excluding Bank Holidays), on the same day (1 - 3 days during busy periods); subject to the availability of the products ordered and acceptance of your order. All our delivery services are subject to the Terms and Conditions of Royal Mail or the COURIER used in dispatching your order. Unless otherwise stated or by prior agreement, all items are dispatched by 2nd Class Royal Mail standard or signed for depending on value and delivery times shown at checkout are ESTIMATES only which are based on delivery times stated by Royal Mail or other Couriers we use. Please be aware delays are occasionally inevitable due to busy periods and unforeseen circumstances...

 

Chrissie Cakes and Supplies will not be held responsible for delivery delays beyond our reasonable control, for example, strike action, 3rd party delays, traffic or weather constraints, Pandemic, and therefore will not accept liability for late delivery, damages, charges, or expenses caused directly or indirectly by any delay in delivery of the ordered products. In the event of requests for goods to be left at unattended premises (for example - in a garage, shed, or porch) or with neighbours, Chrissie cakes and supplies will endeavour to do so at the customer's own liability/risk. Chrissie Cakes and Supplies will not accept liability for damages caused to your order when the shipping address stated is a mail forward agent as damages along the onward forwarding of your delivery is not our liability but that of the company used.

 

International postage excludes import taxes and all Import taxes are the liability of the recipient. Should your parcel be returned undelivered due to an invalid address, non-collection from the depot, or refused by you for any reason, the shipping cost accrued will be deducted from your order before a refund is issued.

The postage costs that are initially applied to your order ESTIMATES. Once we have packaged your order, we will check its size, weight and value and choose the appropriate service partner.  In some instances, as couriers charges are calculated by weight, volume and value of goods, there maybe an additional charge for you to pay before your package can be despatched (in some instances they may also be a refund due).  We do not charge a premium on top of our courier charges, we pass them on to you at the cost we pay.

We will email you an invoice requesting payment for the difference where this is the case – if you do not wish to proceed with your order at this point, a full refund will be offered. 

 

Delivery - Please ensure someone is available to accept your delivery, however, if the postman/courier is unable to deliver your parcel a card will be put through your door informing you that the parcel is available to collect or offering alternative delivery options. Please contact us if delivery of your order is taking longer than stipulated. Chrissie Cakes and Supplies will not accept liability for damages caused to your order when the shipping address stated is a mail forward agent as damages along the onward forwarding of your delivery are not our liability but that of the company used.

You are responsible for any items not collected/delivered that are returned to us and for any additional postage costs incurred as a result of non-collection.

Goods that are faulty - Chrissie Cakes and supplies operates a fast replacement service or money-back guarantee for any products found to be faulty upon receipt of goods. Please first contact us via supplies@chrissiecakesandsupplies.co.uk  or reply to the order confirmation email you receive within 48 hours of receipt of your order so that arrangements can be made for products to be returned in their original packaging back to Chrissie Cakes and Supplies 

Damaged Goods - Where goods are damaged in transit, we will replace the item free of charge. We may ask for proof of the damage and a written statement so that we can proceed with a compensation claim against the courier. Please contact us via email and or phone to advise of damages on the day of delivery and this must be received strictly within 24 hours of your parcel being delivered by our courier. Please include pictures of the shipping box your order was received in and include pictures of damaged items.  Chrissie Cakes and Supplies will not accept liability for damages caused to your order when the shipping address stated is to a mail forwarding agent as damages along the onward forwarding of your delivery is not our liability but that of the company used.

Lost Goods or incomplete deliveries - Please contact strictly within 24 hours of your parcel being delivered by our courier by sending an email to supplies@Chrissiecakesandsupplies.co.uk stating your order reference, delivery address, and contact details. We shall investigate lost packages with our courier partners and will arrange a replacement or full refund in the event the goods cannot be found. Please note that we require a minimum of two working days to investigate lost packages with our couriers. Contact must be made strictly within 24 hours of your parcel being delivered by our courier. Unfortunately, we cannot promise to find a resolution if we are notified after the time frames stated above.

Chrissie cakes and supplies ships to locations all around the world. The shipping cost shown at checkout is only a quick estimate and may be incorrectly calculated.The actual shipping cost is determined after we pack your order. Once packed if shipping is underpaid, an invoice will be raised and sent to you and order will be despatched once payment is made in full.
