Prices and Ordering
By completing and submitting the electronic order via this website you agree to these terms and conditions.
Once you have placed an order via our website www.chrissiecakesandsupplies.co.uk, you will receive an email confirming the details of your order. By completing and submitting the electronic order, you are making an offer to purchase goods that, if accepted by us, will result in a binding contract. A binding contract will only result when we have notified you that your goods have been dispatched.
In the unlikely event that Chrissie cakes and supplies declines your order, we shall provide you with a full refund. Once an order has been dispatched, we cannot change the delivery address from that originally stated on the order when initially placed.
All prices stated on our website include VAT as and when applicable.. and Orders will not be processed until the customer's funds have cleared in full.
We endeavour to ensure all prices are accurate, although it may be necessary to change these occasionally and any changes will be confirmed with you at the time of you placing your order.
We reserve the right to refuse orders for any reason which may include but is not limited to, where products are not available, destinations we consider products are at risk and no receipt of full payment.
In the situation we are unable to fulfill your order, we will refund you for the items that are unavailable.
Placing an Order
It is the responsibility of the customer to provide a full and correct address and contact details. We will not be liable for any delivery errors arising from an incorrectly information. See non-receipt of orders below.
If delivery is attempted but unsuccessful it is the responsibility of the recipient to contact the delivery company, via details left on a calling card, email or text message, to arrange re-delivery or collection.
Upon Receipt of Goods
Upon receiving your order, we ask that you check its contents and report any discrepancies found (if any) within 24 hours. Contact us via email by replying to your order confirmation email. If any signs of damage to the box are evident upon delivery please check the contents before signing. If the goods look affected do not sign for the order, it will be returned to ourselves and we will issue a new order.
In cases of damaged good or missing items we will require photographs to allow us to investigate with our packing team and couriers.
All transactions will be carried out in Sterling.
The laws of the United Kingdom govern all purchases via this website.
Product Availability
We always endeavour to have our product range in stock, but we do sometimes experience delays in our suppliers delivering to us. If an item is temporarily out of stock, we will contact you to inform you of any delay that we are aware of. Generally, we only experience short delays in obtaining more stocks, we will do our best to ensure you are informed of progress. Of course, you definitely and always have the option of cancelling your order.
Descriptions
All images and descriptions of our products are portrayed as honestly and accurately as possible and although unlikely, there may be minor differences between the image and the item you receive, as a result of the production process.
If you are unhappy with the product, you are welcome to return the item subject to the returns policy.
Delivery
We make every effort to deliver goods within the estimated time scales. Please be aware that delays are occasionally inevitable due to busy periods and unforeseen factors. Chrissie cakes and supplies will not be held responsible for delivery delays beyond our reasonable control, for example, strike action, 3rd party delays, traffic or weather constraints and therefore will not accept liability for late delivery, damages, charges or expenses caused directly or indirectly by any delay in delivery of the ordered products.
In the event of requests for goods to be left at unattended premises (for example - in a garage, shed or porch) or with neighbours, Chrissie cakes and supplies will endeavour to do so at the customers own liability/risk.
Damaged Goods - Where goods are damaged in transit, we will replace the item free of charge subject to stock availability. We may ask for proof of the damage and a written statement so that we can proceed with a compensation claim against the courier. Please contact us via email and or phone to advise of damages on the day of delivery and this must be received strictly within 24 hours of your parcel being delivered by our courier. Please include pictures of the shipping box your order was received in and include pictures of damaged items. Chrissie Cakes and Supplies will not accept liability for damages caused to your order when the shipping address stated is to a mail forwarding agent as damages along the onward forwarding of your delivery is not our liability but that of the company used.
Refunds and Returns
If you wish to return an item, you must contact us within 7 days of the date your parcel was delivered.
The returned item remains your property until we receive it and as such we cannot accept responsibility for the safe return of the item and advise customers to return goods by recorded delivery (with the appropriate insurance) and keep proof of postage.
The right to return goods does not apply to Edible / perishable goods (ie. Sugarpaste/Fondant icing and other edibles) and these cannot be returned once dispatched.
All returns and refunds are subject to our Returns Policy and must be received strictly within 14 days from placing your order.
Non-Receipt of Orders
Please inform us of non-delivery of your order within 7 days from the expected date of delivery, this allows ample, reasonable time to check with couriers whether your parcel is being held, tracking information can be provided and re-delivery or collection can be arranged. No claims for non-delivery of your complete order will be allowed unless the Chrissie cakes and supplies is advised within 21 days from the order date for UK Customers or 35 days from the order date for Overseas Customers.
Packages returned due to incorrect address supplied;
The customer is responsible for supplying the full and correct shipping address, orders will be sent to addresses as supplied.
You will be liable for the cost of us re-sending the goods if the parcel is returned to us marked as 'Not called for' or is due to incorrect or insufficient address details. Failure to comply with these charges will result in the order being cancelled and refunded; original postage costs will not be returned. Parcels will only be resent once the charges have been met.
Customs charges not paid
It is the responsibility of the customer to be aware of and to pay any customs charges due to receive the parcel in another country.
You will be liable for the cost of any charges incurred by the courier to Chrissie cakes and supplies for a returned package, including shipping and fines; original postage costs will not be returned. You will be liable for the cost of us re-sending the goods if the parcel is returned to us. Failure to comply with these charges will result in the order being cancelled and refunded. Parcels will only be resent once the charges have been met.
Uncollected Parcels
Our couriers' agents will leave a note if you are not there to receive the parcel. It is your responsibility to call the delivery company to arrange a re-delivery or collect the parcel.
You will be eligible for the cost of us re-sending the goods if the parcel is returned to us marked as 'Not called for'. Failure to comply with these charges will result in the order being cancelled and refunded. Also, please do contact us if there is a delay in you receiving your order within the estimated time scales.
If a parcel is returned due to incorrect or insufficient address details provided on your order you will be eligible for the cost of resending the parcel. Parcels will only be resent once the charges have been met.
Parcels refused upon delivery
Should you need to refuse a parcel for any reason, please contact us in advance to obtain authorisation. Our couriers will charge Chrissie cakes and supplies to return the goods you refuse to collect. If prior authorisation has not been given, this charge will be deducted from the cost of the returned items.
Missing items from your order/Parcel delivered
On delivery of your order, please inspect the parcel contents. Any missing items must be reported within 24 hours of receiving your goods. If an item is missing, please contact us by phone, email (fastest way is to reply to your order confirmation email) or by using our contact us link by scrolling down to the bottom of this page.
Ingredients / Allergy Information
Whilst every care has been taken to ensure the accuracy of ingredients and food allergy information provided on this website, we ask customers concerned about food allergies/ingredients to always check the manufacturers label/s on the product. From time to time manufacturers ingredients may vary/change without notice. Chrissie cakes and supplies can not be held liable for any customers who disregard manufacturers label/s.
Gift Vouchers
Gift vouchers can be redeemed on our website ONLY
Gift vouchers have no cash redemption value and are non-refundable
Gift vouchers and unused portions expire one year from the date of issue, where permissible under applicable law.
Any unused balance will be recorded against the voucher.
If the order exceeds the amount of the gift voucher, the balance must be paid by credit or debit card.
The gift voucher can be applied to an open order by visiting the relevant Order Summary page of our website.

Chrissie cakes and supplies is not responsible if a gift certificate or a gift card is lost, stolen, destroyed or used without permission.

Vouchers cannot be used to purchase gift vouchers.
