Deco Melts by FunCakes are a colourful way to brighten up your drip cakes, cake pops and are hugely versatile coloured candy coating. These melts have a delicious creamy white chocolate flavour and have so many uses.
The melts are great tasting and come in many vibrant colours. Easy to use, just simply melt, pour and then set as required. Once melted they can be used for dipping, coating, sweet & cake pop making and used in candy moulds available here.
Deco Melts are remeltable. You dont need to add extra cocoa butter as the melts already have the right thickness for processing
In certain extreme temperatures, Candy Melts may melt in transit. They still can be used but they may not arrive in the original coin shape.

Easy to use because you do not need to temper your chocolate before using them.
How to melt the deco melts ?
- in water bath.
When the first tablets are melted, remove from the water bath and melt the rest by gently mixing (if not all the tablets are melted so, put them back on the water bath for a few seconds).
Be careful: no drops of water should fall into your Deco Melt, which would then become all pasty... and therefore unusable!
- in the microwave oven.
Heat in small sequences of maximum 30 seconds and mix between each microwave to prevent the tablets from overheating!
Tip: dilute the Deco Melts with vegetable oil (rapeseed) or cocoa butter to make it thinner and therefore easier to use.
If you have some Deco melt left over after use, you can store it in a freezer bag or in a sealed box. Simply transfer it while it is still liquid. It will then harden and you will melt it again the next time you use it. Feel free to crush it so that it melts more easily.
